Payment options is pay in full at time of registration or
3 payment plan- Equal payments -

1st payment due at sign up,

2nd payment and 3rd payments are each due 1 month later.

Ex. If you register your child on Feb. 2, 2024- your initial payment of 1/3 amount comes out that day.
On March 2, 2024 another 1/3 will auto charge to your saved credit card.
Final payment of 1/3 amount will charge on April 2, 2024. You would then be paid in full.

Fees must be paid in full or current on payments before practice begins.

Practices:

Begin Week of March 1, 2024
Practices are held 3 days a week during week days and in the evenings, days are TBD and are coach determined. 

Games:

GCKA Youth Lacrosse games are scheduled to begin TBD
The season consists of 5 weeks with at least 10 games as well as multi-team tournament or play date at the end of the season.
Games are played each Sunday in a round robin event with 3 teams. Each team has 2 games and are played in this format.
Home vs. Opponent 1; Opponent 1 vs. Opponent 2; Home vs. Opponent 2
Games typically begin at 1PM

This is a recreational league with travel requirements. Opponents are teams from surrounding areas of Central Ohio including Grove City, Delaware, London and New Concord.

Uniforms:

A reversible Lacrosse Pennie will be provided for every player.
Grades 3-4- each player will need to purchase red athletic shorts.
Grades 5-6- each player will need to purchase navy blue athletic shorts.

Equipment Needed:
Boys- NOCSAE cerified lacrosse helmet(limited availablility for rentals and used purchases from GCKA), mouthguard, NOCSAE certified shoulder pads, elbow pads, men's lacrosse stick. Cleats preferred.
Girls- Protective eyewear/goggles, mouthguard, women's lacrosse stick. Headgear and gloves are optional. Cleats preferred.

Honoring Requests:

Balancing talent levels is the primary goal when assembling teams in each division. We do our best to honor practice schedule requests, however, we cannot guarantee that all requests will be honored. We do not honor requests to be on a certain team, or with a particular coach or player. The only exception is for siblings and children living in the same household where age and gender would place them in the same division, such requests must be noted in the comments section of the online registration. Other requests will be honored at the discretion of the League Chair and/or Commissioner, however we make no guarantee they will be honored.
After Registering:

A coach will contact you with specifics the week before practices begin. Some may call/email later than others, so don't panic

 No experience is needed! Instruction will be provided.
